- This flow class approaches the skeletal structure, including the shoulders, pelvis, and hip joints, and adjusts the balance. The first half of the class is designed to improve posture and muscular balance, while also incorporating elements of relaxation and stretching, while the second half is designed to actively move to build muscle strength to maintain good balance.
- Adjustment is made by moving the hip/shoulder joints in a curvilinear motion to release joint congestion. The muscles around the major joints are relaxed to improve circulation in the body. Recommended for those who are concerned about stiff neck and shoulders, lower back pain, swelling, coldness, and those who want to improve joint flexibility.
- The basic asanas (postures) of yoga are adjusted in a subtle way to work on the body and remove distortions and tension. This delicate approach to the body awakens the senses and enhances the ability to move the body more freely and comfortably, as well as the ability to concentrate, letting go of mental attachments and ego, and returning to the “me” as I am. The body is aligned, the breath is aligned, and the mind is aligned. Concentrate on your inner self and welcome a balanced body, breath, and mind!
- This class wakes up the body in the morning and adjusts the major skeletal balances.
While performing the basic movements of Odaka Yoga, the class uses martial arts movements and yoga poses to balance and adjust the whole body. The class is moderately strenuous and can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced students.
- Exercises will be practiced based on the basics of Pilates, such as how to use the pelvis and how to breathe. Awaken the inner muscles and learn to move with their natural suppleness, making the body less prone to injury and less prone to fatigue.
- The first half of the class is yang yoga, which uses the trunk (core) and muscles for active movement and energy, while the second half is yin yoga, which uses relaxed movements and releases tension in the body and mind, to adjust the yin-yang balance of the body and mind. Because they are opposites, they complement each other to create a synergistic effect and maximize the benefits to the body and mind in this new type of class.
- All tension gathers in the spine. The spine is an important central axis that determines which part of the body is affected by the strain and buildup of tension. The spine. In this class, Odaka Yoga® uses unique movements to clear the spine and restore its natural suppleness and strength. A spine that is free from blockages naturally has good posture and a dignified body and mind that come to life. This class is recommended for those who suffer from back pain, have a heavy body, or just want to feel refreshed.
- This class combines elements of yoga and Pilates to improve posture, core strength, and mental and physical balance. By becoming aware of your own body’s quirks and individuality, you will find the balance that is best for you and promote evolution from both inside and outside of your body. Through comfortable movement and breathing, this class will support a beautiful and healthy lifestyle by drawing out energy that can be utilized in daily life.
- This is a yoga class based on the theme of “Self-oriented”. By flowing to the natural rhythm of the body and breathing, students deepen their connection with themselves. We will actively and joyfully move the whole body while focusing on the tanden, the center of the body. Enjoy yourself♪
- Exercises are practiced using a round shaped tool called a Pilates ring. The use of the rings, which are made of strong springs, deepens the quality of the exercises and strengthens the muscles connected to the core. The rings make it easy to understand how to use the body and are recommended for beginners.
- The flow of the body and breath are connected through seated, standing, and balancing poses. By using curved movements from the tanden, the energy spot of the body, prana (energy) spreads throughout the entire body, bringing out strength and calmness. It is also recommended for strengthening the core and improving flexibility of the body and mind.
